Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore (A.K.A. God)
Albus Dumbledore is the depiction of God in the Harry Potter series. From the very beginning we see small similarities between stories from the Bible, like when Dumbledore told his students they must not enter the third floor corridor on the right hand side, because of its danger, similar to when God told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit from the tree in the Garden of Eden because of the dangers it would bring. The students and Adam and Eve trusted in their God figure, without poking around in curiosity (Until tempted by the Devil).
More exhibited in the novels then movies, Dumbledore's wrath is displayed during the fourth installment, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, when it is discovered that Professor Moody was actually Barty Crouch Jr. It is here where Harry first sees Dumbledore in a furious state, and finally understands why Dumbledore is the only wizard Voldemort had ever feared. Dumbledore, angry at the deception of evil, is incredibly similar to the wrath of God, who displays his wrath countless times in the Old Testament specifically.
Dumbledore plays a fatherly role for Harry, guiding him on his quests, giving him advice, and even helping him along the way. This easily ties in to Harry being a Christ figure, as God is the father of Jesus. In the later installments after the death of Dumbledore, Harry continues to do the work that Dumbledore set out for him, similar to how Christian people still do the work of God. Dumbledore is the symbol of goodness. He always appears to have the answers in both the books and the movies. Dumbledore plays the role of God in this series.
